1. Supplier and service
ARCD is supplied by Octomedia Pty Ltd. Reference provides an evidence-based business research directory covering qualifying retail brands in Australia and New Zealand.
Directory records can be incomplete, overdue, disputed or wrong. Freshness labels describe the review evidence held; they are not a guarantee that a company, contact, executive, ownership relationship or store count is current. You must verify information before relying on it.
2. Individual licence
A Reference subscription is an individual, revocable, non-transferable licence for the named account holder's internal supplier-sales and business research. It does not permit account sharing, resale, republication, bulk copying or automated extraction.
Corporate access and shared seats require a separately approved plan. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and must promptly report suspected compromise.
3. Price, term and renewal
Reference is A$495 per year for an Australian billing address or NZ$495 per year for a New Zealand billing address, GST inclusive. Stripe collects payment and stores payment details; ARCD does not receive card numbers.
The subscription renews automatically each year until cancelled. ARCD sends one plain reminder seven days before renewal stating the plan, amount and renewal date. Cancellation is completed after signing in and prevents the next renewal while retaining access to the current paid-through date. Billing documents are held in the account.
4. Reversals and failed payment
You may request a voluntary full reversal within 14 calendar days after an automatic renewal. This voluntary policy does not apply to an initial purchase or termination for confirmed material or repeated misuse. A failed renewal receives seven days of access grace before suspension.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian or New Zealand consumer rights.
5. Acceptable use and directory information
The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. Company contact details are presented as unverified business contact information and may be outdated or route to an individual. You remain responsible for deciding whether and how you may contact a person or company, including compliance with privacy, spam, marketing and consumer laws.
We may investigate suspected misuse and temporarily suspend access. Confirmed material or repeated misuse may result in termination without a voluntary refund, subject always to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Changes, availability and liability
We may correct, suppress, merge or remove directory records and may change the service where reasonably required. A material change to these terms will be versioned and may require renewed acceptance before further access.
To the extent permitted by law, ARCD is supplied without a promise of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular sales decision, and Octomedia is not liable for an indirect or consequential loss arising from unverified directory information.
7. Contact and governing law
Questions, corrections and complaints can be sent through Octomedia's published contact and privacy channels. These terms are governed by New South Wales law, without limiting mandatory rights that apply because you are in another jurisdiction.
